Dear Festival Community,
Out of an abundance of caution with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we decided to postpone our full festival until summer 2022. However, we ARE returning with the full string camp, and a smaller Microfestival event in 2021. This event will still feature the mains stage with 12+ hours of music each day, workshops, food vendors, AND the beer tent late night jamming scene, as well as camping overnight available from Sunday July 18th! We started out planning a much smaller Micro event and we have slowly expanded our offerings and attendance. We do still expect however, that the event will be significantly smaller than our regular festival, so that everyone will have space to spread out.
The intention of the event will be to support live music performance, and gather with others in a wide open outdoors space. We do not require vaccinations to attend. The new (May) guidelines from the CDC state that attendees can go mask-less in the event at all times if they are vaccinated. We will be determining our final guidelines for non-vaccinated attendees in early July 2021. If you have questions about the safety or efficacy of vaccinations, we encourage you to speak directly with your healthcare provider–(who does not live on the internet!)
ALL tickets including hookups will need to be purchased PRIOR to attending, there will be no tickets sold at the gate.
Please visit the specific Microfestival page for more details about the festival.
Please also stay tuned for announcements about small evening concerts supporting festival musicians this summer and fall in the festival’s geographic area, as well as an online store for merchandise which will support local and regional artists with the sales. As a nonprofit we take our role in supporting the arts community seriously. While there are limitations on what can happen in the next year, there are ways to create safe outdoor experiences on a smaller scale. We are committed to supporting musicians as we all navigate this next year together.
