A few unique characteristics about our event
-Features a higher percentage of female fronted bands then almost all major festival lineups
-One of very few festivals in the country to be hosted in a very rural and economically underserved area
-Is a nonprofit organization that provides musical education opportunities to students of all ages through scholarships to its 5 day string camp, and free music classes for kids 5-17 at the festival. It also provides access to music performances for all ages at affordable rates using free tickets for 17 and under, free camping, and discount tickets for local residents.
-Workshops, local food and beer, barn dances, yoga, and a beautiful setting complete the picture.
