July 20th-24th, 2025

Join us for the Ossipee Valley String Camp! A 7-day immersive experience (5 days of camp, including a pass to the music festival!) with some of the brightest professional teachers of bluegrass and roots music around!

A ticket to camp includes four classes per day, three meals using farm to table ingredients, daily yoga, and evening fun such as the variety show, circle jams, and dances. Camp is for all ages 13+, and most instruments offer classes at mutiple levels of speed and complexity so there is something for everyone.

Instruments covered at camp include guitar (flatpicking and finger/blues style), banjo (fingerpicking and clawhammer), mandolin, upright bass, fiddle, voice, songwriting and ukelele.

Camp sells out every year at just 130 students, so buy your ticket as soon as possible! Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 2nd at 12pm EST, while previous attendees of camp get access to a pre-sale starting December 21st (check email from info@ossipeevalley.com). While there aren't pricing tiers available for camp, we have a robust scholarship program on a needs-basis. Email us at info@ossipeevalley.com for details.

Hookups are available for campers at the same rates as during the festival, and tent camping is included with all tickets. There is local lodging available, visit our Camping page for more info.

The camp is funded in part by several generous foundations and anonymous donors. If you would like to consider supporting the ongoing educational work of our camp, and the year round educational initiatives of the North Atlantic Arts Alliance, visit the sponsors & donors area of our website to find out more.
