The 2026 dates of string camp are July 19th-23rd. The camp includes a ticket to the Ossipee Valley Music Festival, which directly follows/is integrated into the camp, July 23rd-26th.
Tickets for camp sell out extremely quickly. Because of this we have implemented a staggered release of tickets.
1. December 21st at noon-tickets for previous attendees go on sale. This is accessed only through a private email link (sent from info@ossipeevalley.com), if you have unsubscribed from our emails, you won't get the link.
2. General tickets -1st saturday of January at noon (these sell out within minutes)
3. Lottery-we will open up the lottery applications as soon as general tickets sell out. The lottery is for first time attendees only.
4. Scholarships-scholarships are awarded on a first come, first serve basis or on financial need (not on musical skill/merit). You simply have to email us at info@ossipeevalley.com to apply, with a letter describing your level of need, and musical background. Scholarships are for all ages (13-90+)
For 2026 tickets are priced at $625 for adults and $500 for teens (13-17). Tickets include four hours of instruction per day, three daily farm to table meals, evening jams and activities, dry (no electric/water) camping (hookups available for additional charge), and a free four day pass to the Ossipee Valley Music Festival (for seven total nights of fun!)
Full Scholarships are available! Email info@ossipeeavalley.com. You may also volunteer at the music festival in order to reduce the price of your ticket, though you will need to sign up for this on our volunteer page separately.
We won't have a full instructor roster until late winter or spring, typically. Camp will be sold out by then! But we hire prominent nationally touring artists who also teach fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, banjo (both clawhammer and bluegrass style), singing and songwriting. You can check out the instructor page for either last year's instructors, or this year's roster (date will be updated at the top of the page).
Starting the first Saturday in January we are accepting scholarship applications. Email info@ossipeevalley.com to apply with a letter addressed to the board of directors of the North Atlantic Arts Alliance (can be in the body of an email), explaining your musical background and level of financial need. Scholarships are given out based on time of application and level of financial need, with those most in need being accepted first. We have limited spots for guitar scholarships as this is the most popular instrument.
